DUTIES

Market Research and Customer Relations
- Conduct in-depth market surveys and research for commodities handled by the organization.
- Identify potential customers and partners, and arrange frequent visits and meetings to establish business relationships.
- Nurture existing customer relationships and address their needs and concerns.
- Gather feedback from customers and provide insights to improve products or services.
Reporting and Communication
- Prepare regular reports on business activities, market trends, and competitors' activities.
- Communicate effectively with the company's Head Offices located outside of Ghana.
- Address ad-hoc requests for information or data from senior management and other stakeholders.
Support to Senior Management
- Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans and business objectives.
- Assist in implementing business development strategies to expand the company's presence in the market.
- Execute tasks and projects as directed by senior management.
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, Management Information system, Computer Science, Social Sciences or any relevant field of study.
- At least 5 years relevant working experience in sales, marketing, business development or public relations.
- Prior experience in import/export and trading operations, preferably with well-established companies.
- Excellent communication, research, and writing skills. French-speaking ability is a significant advantage.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners.
- Proactive attitude towards continuous learning and self-development.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a functional capacity.
